Info
Wetsuit + diving in warmwater = good time
Finland = cold water
Wetsuit + diving in cold water = bad time
DRYsuit + diving in cold water = GOOD time 👌
Thus we can deduce that diving dry in Finland is a good time. In colder waters, a drysuit is pretty much required for any kind of comfort. If you’ve done diving somewhere warmer and would like to continue in Finland with the best of clubs, this workshop is fr you
Diving with a drysuit is not rocket science, but requires a little practice. Kupla’s drysuit workshop will teach you about the features of drysuits, how to get onw and where to look, and instruct on how to use a drysuit effectively and safely. The course is pretty much:
Classroom sessions & theory ➤ Getting the suit and gear together
➤ Pool sessions ➤ Open water dive
All you need is somekind of diving certification and an interest in diving in Finland.
As a workshop, This will not get you an official “Drysuit diver” certification card. Only the knowledge and skills on using a drysuit. A cerification is possible, but has extra costs and a more rigid course structure. Please ask your instructor if you require this.
